The International Finance Cooperation is recruiting Associate Investment Officer in their Lagos office
The International Finance Cooperation is a sub unit of the World Bank Group, that is in charge of investing and lending developing countries globally.
The UN Jobs reported that the roles and responsibilities of an Associate Investment Officer are as follows:
1. Promote IFC’s investment
activities the TMT sector in SSA, with particular focus on Nigeria.
2. Identify viable investment
opportunities that deliver both development impact and commercial profitability
3. Execute financing transactions-both
equity and debt-from appraisal, valuation, financial analysis and presenting to
IFC’s internal credit review and IFC’s board
4. Build a strong pipeline of
potential investment opportunities
5. Help develop and implement
innovative and appropriate financial structures for complex transactions
6. Lead project teams, mentor and
develop junior staff. etc
